Almond Joy–Inspired Energy Balls

 



A delicious and healthy treat that tastes just like your favorite candy bar.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a food processor, combine the almond flour, shredded coconut, and salt. Pulse until well combined.
  2. Add the wet ingredients: Add the pitted dates, almond butter, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract to the food processor. Pulse until a dough forms.
  3. Form the balls: Roll the dough into 1-inch balls.
  4. Chill and enjoy: Chill the energy balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Optional toppings:

  • Chopped almonds
  • Coconut flakes
  • Sea salt

Tips:

  • For a vegan option, make sure your chocolate chips are dairy-free.
  • Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
